The second version of the Army 1.5-Ton Truck was identical to the first but with the addition of a plastic canopy. Details of the diecast model can be found here L/V612 Army 1.5-Ton Truck

The Canopy was coloured an olive-green shade and had eight inner pegs which held it within the body of the truck. At the back a simulated rolled-up canvas awning was a feature of the otherwise fairly plain cover. 'Britains Ltd' and 'Made in England' were included inside the molding.

LV/613 had the usual open fronted box with an internal packing piece to which the model was secured but there were two variations. The first had the number and name printed on one end-flap as normal, whilst the second had a white label applied to the flap on which the model details were stamped, possibly to make use of a box originally printed for another model.

The Army 1.5 ton Covered Truck is quite hard to find and the canopy even more scare. The boxes are rare.
