The Farm Truck was the same model as LV/612 Army 1.5-Ton Truck and details are listed under that model.

 

There was no change to the casting but the Farm Truck was painted in several bright colours. As with LV/612, there was a spare wheel situated behind the cab.

The cab and chassis of the Farm Truck were painted in various shades of tan or brown which varied in shade. Silver trim was added to the headlights. The plain cab base, which included the bumper and the driver, was black. Inside, the driver figure was highlighted with pink or pale-tan face trim.

Britains chose three colours for the dropside body of the model, yellow, pale-green, or red.

The wheels always had red hubs with black tyres which were usually embossed with 'Britains Ltd England' on each side.

LV/616 Farm Truck was sold in the standard open fronted box with an inner diorama insert to which the model was secured. The model name and number were printed on one of the end-flaps.

​

Although it was in production for a few years, the Farm Truck was not included in any Sets and is a scarce model. The boxes are very rare.
