Second of the four Foden models, the Long Distance Wagon shared with them the cab and chassis casting, this time painted a light brown colour. 'Made in England' and 'Morestone Series' was cast underneath.

There was a little base under the cab (without id.) and the metal wheels were assembled on round-head and crimped axles prior to painting. The grille, front bumper and headlights were given silver trim and the wheels fitted with chunky black tyres.

The seperately painted dark-red body was fixed to the chassis by a single central rivet which was the only part of the model not to be painted.

The box was a shared one which had all four Foden trucks illustrated, one on each side. The end-flap stated 'Morestone Series No.2 Long Distance Wagon'.

Like the other Fodens, the Long Distance Diesel Wagon was popular and there are still some excellent examples to be found.
